The Box Family
Behind the success of every small business, there's a family.
Lake Ruth Kennels was found by Kevin Box, a hard-working, Christian man from central Mississippi. Now, Kevin, his wife, and his children (including his son-in-laws) help breed, raise, and sell superior Australian Shepherds. The Box family's top priority is the health and well-being of its puppies, while considering the wants and needs of its customers. The name of each family member is listed here (left to right): Mitchel (Anna's husband), Anna (daughter), Tracie (wife), Kevin, Eden (daughter), Katie (daughter), Loftin (Katie's husband), and Seth (son).
Lake Ruth
Lake Ruth Kennels acquired its name from the body of water in which its located: Lake Ruth. This lake was created and formed in 2000 by Tony Thomas. Now, all of Tony's children, including Tracie and her family (the Boxes), live in homes surrounding this beautiful body of water in French Camp, Mississippi.
Lake Ruth has characteristics that make it a great place to raise puppies. Equipped with approximately 100 acres of natural forest, the area is ideal for puppies to develop an outgoing personality and strong physical features. Lake Ruth also provides an abundance of human-to-puppy interaction and constant exposure to children from the Boxes and the other families who live around the lake.
